MARL ARRIVAL: Minnie was surrendered to MARL because her owner could no longer care for her.

BACKGROUND: Meet Minnie! This little Chihuahua is looking for a foster home to relax in and prepare to give birth. Minnie is expected to have 2-3 puppies and will likely give birth in the next two weeks. She is looking for a quiet home with someone who will be able to communicate regularly to our medical team about her and her puppies health for approximately two months time. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Minnie has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats but should be kept separate for the duration of her foster period to protect both her, and her puppies.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Minnie is expected to have 2-3 puppies and will likely give birth in the next two weeks. After the puppies are born, close monitoring of mom and puppies should be done for approximately two months and includes taking weights, keeping track of bowel movements and making sure mom and puppies are thriving.
