Meet me

Roger

AVAILABLE FOR: Adoption

BORN: October 2020

SEX: Male

BREED: Shepherd Mix

WEIGHT: 30 lbs.

MARL ARRIVAL: Roger was brought to MARL as a stray.

BACKGROUND: Meet Roger! Roger was brought to MARL after being found outside with his sister. It became clear quickly that Roger had never been exposed to normal, everyday things and because of this, Roger was quite fearful when he first arrived at MARL. Being pet, walking on a leash, playing with toys, or taking treats were all new to him and it took him awhile to warm up to staff and volunteers. Fast-forward to today and Roger is still adjusting, but doing much better. He is learning how to dog and enjoys dragging all his toys out from the toy box, gentle pets on his head and ears and playing with other dogs. He's looking for an adopter who understands that it while might take him some time to learn the routine and the ropes, it definitely will be worth the wait.

COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Roger has the potential to get along with other dogs. Roger would do best in home without cats and with children 10 years or older.

MEDICAL NEEDS: None.
